 What is Shahadah?

Answer:

The key of the jannah: Shahadah

Shahadah is the following words in Arabic:
اَشْهَدُ اَنْ لاَ اِلهَ اِلاَّ اللّهُ وَ اَشْهَدُ اَنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُهُ وَ رَسوُ لُه
Which means "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Mohammad is Allah's servant and His Messenger”.
Recitation of the Shahadah, the "oath" or "testimony", is the first of the Five Pillars of Islam.
Shahadah is the neccessity of faith and the source of the worship acts. Without shahadah, we can’t talk about faith, worship and deeds. If a person who recites kalima shahadah confirms it with his heart becomes a muslim. A person who has not recited shahadah is not required to pray, fast, give zakah and go to hajj. Kaynak: http://askaquestionto.us - What is Shahadah?
