 What Does Hadrat Mean?

What Does Hadrat Mean? Can everybody be called as hadrat?

Answer:

Hadrat is called those having ilm and virtue, being prominent. Literally it is “a title given to the great and elderly.”
Hadrat is the one who is prominent in the subjects relating to iman, in spiritual subjects, in virtue (being in the highest place in religious and Islamic affairs), in moral subjects and in the highest place in terms of closeness to Allah. These people are the ones we call awliya of wali.
The individual supposed to be a prominent and like a leader in spiritual subjects. That we call our prophet and some spiritual and honourable individuals as Hadrats is because they are the prominent and leaders in subjects related to iman, Islam and ilm. Kaynak: http://askaquestionto.us - What Does Hadrat Mean?
