Is It Permissible to Disrupt the Performance During Daily Prayer (Salah)?
Is
disrupting the performance during the prayer (salah) permissible? Under what
conditions, is it permissible?
Answer:
Disrupting the prayer performance without an urgent need isn’t permissible (jaiz). Conditions that make it permissible is as such:
If a parent calls someone who is performing prayer (salah), he/she doesn’t answer him/her before finishing the prayer. However, if the parent calls for help, whoever is praying disrupts his/her prayer. Because cutting performing prayer without an urgent need is not permissible. In this case, strangers are also similar to parents.
While someone is performing prayer, if he/she is afraid that another one will fall from rooftop or be burnt by fire or be drowned in water and if this person wants help from the one who is performing prayer, it becomes obligatory to disrupt the prayer. In this case it doesn’t matter whether the prayer is a required (fard) or optional (nafilah) prayer.
While a woman is praying, if her pot on the stove spills over, she can disrupt her prayer to save and straighten the pot.
Also, if the animal of a guest (traveler) who is praying escapes or shepard who is praying is afraid that the wolves will eat his flock or someone who is praying is afraid that a blind will fall into a well, there people can disrupt their prayer for these reasons.
If a “zımmî” (a non-Muslim living in a Muslim land) comes to a Muslim who is praying and says: “Teach me Islam, inform me” even if that person is performing the required (fard) prayer, he/she breaks his prayer. It is also as such in Hulasa. (Fatawayi Hindiyya) Kaynak: http://askaquestionto.us - Is It Permissible to Disrupt the Performance During Daily Prayer (Salah)?
