When Will the End of the World Come?

Will the world end on the day of Ashura? Do the hadith on determine a certain date for qiyamah? When will the end of the world come?

Answer:

In authentic (sahih) hadith sources “the end of the world” is also counted among the thing which will happen on ashura day. (Tabarani,Mujamul Kabir, Haysami, Majmauzzavaid, Suyuti, al-laali al masnu’a, Abdurrazzak, Musannaf, Gunya)
It is notified in the hadiths that the time for qiyamah (end of the world) is unknown for certain. Moreover, “The world will end on the day of ashura” sentence doesn’t express a certain date as well.

There is not a certain provision for qiyamah

Our prophet answered as the following when he was asked about the time of qiyamah: “Qiyamah (end of the world) is one of the five unseen which are unknown except from Allah (swt)” and recited the following ayahs:

"Lo! Allah! With Him is knowledge of the Hour." (Surah Loqman, 34)
"None in the heavens and the earth knoweth the Unseen save Allah." (Surah Naml; 65)
Bediuzzaman said the time for qiyamah cannot be known for sure as the following:
“These hints, actually, cannot be evidence since they are not strong and only tawafuqs (being nicely proportionate) but their coming all of a sudden.
