In some books, there are mentioned a jinn called Ummu Subyan (sibyan) bothering pregnant women to cause them to suffer miscarriage. And in order to prove that there is also mentioned a saying as hadith:
Whoever recites adhan to the right ear of the newborn baby and qamah to the left ear, that child is protected from the ummu subyan (sibyan) disease (being struck by an evil spirit or eclampsia). (Abu Ya’la)
