Is Man’s Coming to the Earth Determined by His Parents?

Is there an influence of the parents of people come into the world? Namely, can it be hindered or delayed by some ways?

Answer:

“To Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. He creates what He wills. He bestows female (offspring)s upon whom He wills, and bestows male (offspring)s upon whom He wills. Or He bestows them together both males and females in pairs (as twins), and He renders barren whom He wills. Verily, He is Alim (the All-Knower) and He is Qadir. (the Omnipotent)” (Shura 49-50)
Before created, Allah (swt) had written the man’s gender, shape, lifetime, time of born on the preserved tablet (lawh-i mahfuz). A child’s coming into the world depends on some causes. But; if Allah (swt) does not will, the child cannot come into the world even if those causes exist.
Ebu Said al-Hudri (ra) narrated that: “ One of the (sahaba) asked Prophet (pbuh) of the condition of “azil” (protection)
Our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said that:
“(Azil-protection) is not sin. But every alive which was determined by Allah, definitely will come into the world until the resurrection day.” (İbn-i Maja)
In anyway, hindering of a child’s birth on the world doesn’t prevent Allah from creating it. Because, formation of that living creature and its coming into the world in a particular date is by the reason of Allah’s willing its birth at that time. Taking measures is just a reason or a cause.
