What Was the Religion of Muhammad Before Islam?

Before Blessed Muhammad (pbuh) became a prophet of Islam, what had his religion been?

Answer:

“And afterward We inspired thee (Muhammad, saying): Follow

the religion of Abraham

, as one by nature upright. He was

not of the idolaters

.”(Surat-u Nahl, 123)
“Abraham was

not a Jew, nor yet a Christian

; but he was an upright man who had surrendered (to Allah), and he was not of the idolaters. Lo! those of mankind who have the best claim to Abraham are those who followed him, and this Prophet and those who believe (with him); and Allah is the Protecting Guardian of the believers.” (Surat-u Al-i Imran, 67-68)
As mentioned in the ayahs above, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) followed the religion of Prophet Abraham. He was a never a Christian or a Jew. Besides, he was never a pagan; he never believed in partners to Allah (swt) and never worshiped idols although the majority of Arabs were idolaters in that era. Even before Islam, he was a Monotheist who followed the righteous path and displayed best moral behaviors every time. Even in his childhood and in his youth, with the protection and guidance of Allah (swt), he never followed the distortions of the era of ignorance before Islam. Kaynak: http://askaquestionto.us - What Was the Religion of Muhammad Before Islam?
